Using this site
You may browse, link to, and quote this site for any lawful purpose. You may not scrape it wholesale to republish elsewhere, use it to train spam operations, attempt to breach its security, or misrepresent an affiliation with Techlancer.
Our content
The articles, guides, tools, and design of this site belong to Techlancer unless credited otherwise. Quote with attribution and a link — that’s fine and encouraged. Copying entire pages or republishing our content as your own is not.
The Techlancer name and logo are our marks. Client names mentioned on this site remain the property of their respective owners.
Guides, tools, and calculators
The educational content and interactive tools on this site provide general information and estimates, not professional advice for your specific situation. Calculator outputs are illustrative — they use stated assumptions and your inputs, and real-world costs and results vary. Decisions you make based on site content are your own; talk to us (or any qualified professional) before betting the business on them.
Service engagements
Descriptions of services on this site are informational, not binding offers. Actual engagements — software development, marketing services, support agreements — are governed by the written proposal or agreement we sign together, which controls over anything written here.
Text messages (SMS)
If you tick a text-message consent box on our contact form, these terms apply to the messages that follow.
What you’re agreeing to. There are two separate consents, and ticking one does not tick the other:
- Non-marketing messages — service updates, project status notifications, and client communication.
- Promotional messages — marketing offers, local search and lead-generation tips, and service updates.
Consent is optional and never a condition of purchase. You can submit the form, become a client, and work with us without agreeing to either. We will not withhold a service, a quote, or a price because you declined.
Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies, up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply — those are charged by your mobile carrier, not by us.
Stopping messages. Reply STOP to any message and they stop, immediately and permanently, at no cost to you. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us on (657) 288-2888 or consult@techlancer.com. You may also ask us to remove your number by any of those routes.
Carriers. Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier’s network and your handset, neither of which we control.
Your number. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See the Privacy Policy for exactly how that data is handled.
Third-party links
Where we link to other sites or name third-party products, we don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, pricing, or policies.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is.” We work to keep it accurate and available but don’t warrant that it is error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Techlancer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
