Techlancer (“we,” “us”) operates techlancer.com. This policy describes what information we collect on this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’ve written it to be read, not skimmed past.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form, we receive whatever you choose to send: typically your name, email address, and message. If you email or call us directly, we receive what you share there.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use analytics to understand how the site is used — pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived here. Analytics data is aggregated; we don’t use it to identify you personally. Our web host also keeps standard server logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies. We use only the cookies our analytics requires. We don’t run advertising trackers or sell ad space on this site.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry — that’s the only thing your contact-form details are used for. We won’t add you to a mailing list you didn’t ask for, and we will never sell or rent your contact information. Ever.
- To understand what content is useful, so we can improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and functioning.
Who else sees it
We share information only with the service providers needed to run this website — hosting, form processing, and analytics — each bound by their own privacy commitments. We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it with third parties for their marketing. We would disclose information if legally required to.
How long we keep it
Contact inquiries are kept as long as needed to handle the conversation and any business relationship that follows. Analytics data is retained per our analytics provider’s standard retention window. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
- Access or deletion: email consult@techlancer.com and we’ll tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.
- Cookies: your browser can block or clear cookies; the site works fine without them.
- Do Not Track / opt-out: if your browser sends a global privacy signal, our analytics configuration honors the applicable requirements of your jurisdiction.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be noted plainly rather than buried.
